When I started this fundraising year, my nan was bravely battling against cancer.  Like so many people, she sadly lost her fight on the 6th March 2010.  She was an incredible woman who fought like hell and never once complained or moaned about what she was going through.  As part of my plans for the year and in memory of my nan, I am aiming to raise money for the Macmillan Cancer Support who offer vital support for both the suffers and families of this horrible disease.

Instead of just doing one sponsored event I am embarking on what I am calling “Lee’s year of pain”!  For those of you who know me, in the last year I have re-discovered exercise after 14 years of laziness!! and have taken part in my first triathlon as well as various other races and events.

More events will be added when they come up but the idea is to do at least 2 “painful” races every month.

I hope that you will support me in this endeavour and pledge money to this worthy cause, the more money I get the greater the incentive to push myself further and maintain my motivation.

If anybody wants to join me on my adventures your support will be more than welcome, just let me know.  Leegladwellasa@yahoo.com

I will update you all regularly on my progress throughout the year, wish me luck!
