Over five evenings starting on Monday 4th July I'll be pedalling to all the area's Youth Centres celebrating them and the hundreds of young people in them who are members and volunteers." Kate Longstaff <br /><br />The Leg Up Fund will be managed by young volunteers and Voluntary Action North Lincolnshire (VANL) providing small grants to individuals and groups of young people to help them develop. A fund to help young people in North Lincolnshire with that extra leg-up we all sometimes need. </span></p>
<p><span style="line-height: 115%; font-family: "Tahoma","sans-serif"; color: #333333; font-size: 12pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB; mso-fareast-language: EN-GB; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;">As you may notice here the money will be going to VANL who will hold it securely until the fund is established - rest assured it will only be spent on young people's projects where young people decide the beneficiaries! <br /><br />The programme for the fund raising tour is: -<br /><br />4th July<br />Monday – 6.00pm set off from The Base visiting Winterton Youth Centre, Barton Youth Club at The Hub and returning to The Base. 26.6 miles<br /><br />5th July <br />Tuesday – 5.30pm set off from The Base visiting Kirton Youth Centre, Bottesford Pavilion, Duke of Edinburgh Award at Oswald House and returning to The Base. 27.3 miles<br /><br />6th July<br />Wednesday – 5.45 set off from The Base visiting Ashby Wesley Youth Club, Bottesford Youth Centre, Brigg Youth Centre, Mobile Youth Centre at Wrawby and returning to The Base. 27 miles<br /><br />7th July<br />Thursday – 6.30pm set off from The Base visiting Broughton Youth Centre, Riddings Youth Centre, Westcliff Youth Centre, West Common Youth Sports Hall and returning to The Base. 18.3 miles<br /><br />8th July<br />Friday – 5.45pm set off from The Base –12.9m- Epworth Youth Centre – 6.1m – Crowle Youth Centre -10.1m- The Base<br />29.1 miles<br /><br />9th July – 1.00pm – 3.00pm The Base – Celebration and launch of The Leg Up Fund<br /><br />Total Distance 128.3 miles<br /><br />Anyone who would like to volunteer to help or offer sponsorship can contact Kate on 07717587206 or David Plumtree at VANL on 01724 845155.<br /><br />Email <a href="mailto:kate.Longstaff@northlincs.gov.uk">kate.Longstaff@northlincs.gov.uk</a> or <a href="mailto:david.plumtree@vanl.org.uk">david.plumtree@vanl.org.uk</a></span></p>
