Hello!
I am taking on the challenge of a 100km trek in the Namibian desert this September in order to raise money for the Fredericks Foundation.
The Fredericks Foundations is a charity which helps individuals to become self sufficient who might otherwise not be able to support themselves by providing micro finance funding, mentoring and support.
The charity itself has one of the lowest overhead rates of any charity and has a 75-85% payback on the money it loans, meaning not only that the projects its supports are thriving and their owners gain real independence but that donations it receives are recycled over and over again.
The challenge itself is immense and it will be the furthest distance I have ever tackled on foot but with your help and support I know I can do it - and I even promise not to show you my blisters!
