ChildLine is the UK's free and confidential, 24 hour helpline for children in distress or danger. Trained volunteer counsellors comfort, advise, support and protect children and young people who may feel they have nowhere else to turn. Children call ChildLine about a wide range of problems, but the most common problems are abuse (both sexual and physical), bullying, serious family tensions, worries about friends' welfare and teenage pregnancy. Children and young people can call ChildLine about anything – no problem is too big or too small. ChildLine is a service provided by the NSPCC

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Leon, Gary, Susie, Simon, Jocelyn, Simon, Dave and Sue will be cycling from Leicester to Paris between the 2nd and 6th May 2013.

What started out as a great idea once cold evening over a BBQ has turned into an enormous task for most of (except Dave!) because none of us had cycled 50 miles before, never mind the 350 or so miles that we are going to cover on our route.

We are raising money for 2 different charities, both very close to us.  The first is Childline on this page, who do some fantastic work and one of our team, Jocelyn, volunteers for the charity on a regular basis.  We are also raising money for the Ash Lea Special School in Cotgrave, Notts where Nathaniel (son of Gary and Susie) attends.
