Recent events include the Kidney Care Appeal Sponsored Walk at Ratcliffe College in June 2008 which raised over £30,000 followed by a Celebration of Music at Stanford Hall in October 2008 which raised a further £3,000. We also had a clothing collection bank at the Leicester General Hospital for patients and staff alike to donate their unwanted clothing and shoes etc which ran from Thurs 19th Feb until Thurs 12th March 2009 (World Kidney Day).
We have just completed our 2010 KCA Sponsored Walk at Ratcliffe College (June 13th 2010) and so far, it's raised over £15.5k and we're still expecting psonsor money in from walkers! With the Christmas Raffle we held in December 09 that raised nearly £12.5k, we've raised over £61,000 in the last 2 years which is fantastic. We are extremely grateful to each and every person that has sponsored/donated money to the appeal so far.
Future fundraising schemes and events include another Walk in 2012 amongst others- Further details to follow.
We decided to set up this page so that you can donate to the appeal easily throughout the year.
