<p>My lovely wife volunteered me to do a half marathon - we then found out it was a full marathon at 26.2 miles! But as it's raising money for the Kent Air Ambulance I decided that I would give it go. Bearing in mind the furthest I have ever run is the 3 mile cross-country when I was at school!</p> <p>Kent Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance is a Charity - they have no government funding and it costs a minimum of &pound;4500 per day to operate. This saves the lives of many people across these counties.</p> <p>As many of my friends know, we have had the Air Ambulance called out to a lot of the motorbikes races we have attended at Brands and Lydden etc - some good, some bad but with the help of the Air Ambulance many riders' lives have been saved.</p> <p>So for all of us that have high adrenalin hobbies whether, bike or car racing, horse riding or just simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time - an accident, at work or on the road - please dig deep and sponsor me and support the Kent Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance.</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
