I work in one of St Mungo’s registered care homes. The project cares for some of the most vulnerable people in our society meaning that my job can often be quite challenging, but at the same time I find it very rewarding.

I am delighted to be taking part in this year’s Bridge Walk, especially as I’ll be joined by one of my residents, Carl.  And Carl will be bringing along a friend of his own, Buddy – a golden retriever. Buddy was once homeless himself, but now has a home of his own and helps bring joy to the residents at our care home by visiting them once a week with his owner, Saskia.

Carl, Buddy and I are hoping to raise as much sponsorship money as possible to help improve mental health care services for homeless people, so please sponsor us.

You would not only be helping to change the lives of homeless people, you could quite literally be helping to save them.  Thank you!

Leila, Carl & Buddy
