Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

In April 2009 I will be taking part in the London Flora Marathon to raise money for Help the Aged.

In November 2005 I lost my Nan to Pancreatic Cancer (www.pcrf.org.uk) which was not detected until a post mortem was carried out.  Her GP, whilst she was ill, refused to do any house visits and continued to prescribe her Gaviscon by giving prescriptions to other members of our family.  Although my Nan may not have been saved from this illness, she could have been spared the pain and suffering she went through.

Please help me to raise as much as possible to help prevent the aged suffering due to neglect, discriminiation or isolation in any way we can.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Help the Aged gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please dig deep and sponsor me now!

Thank you!!!
