In the summer of 2008, my Mum went into Katherine House Hospice, Stafford after a 3 year battle with cancer. She stayed in the Hospice for just over 2 weeks and received excellent treatment in her last days. However, this care does not come cheap and the Hospice needs donations to keep ensuring the high level of care is maintained.
I came up with the idea of riding from Lands End to John O'Groats in the Autumn of 2008 and quickly formed a group of interested riders. Now that the summer is rapidly approaching, it is time to start getting our message out there and start asking for donations.
Anything you can give will make a difference and help people receive the best treatment possible.
THE RIDE HAS BEEN COMPLETED! IT TOOK ME 11 DAYS OF PEDALLING BUT I GOT THERE!
Unfortunately, due to injuries and other circumstances, the other 3 were unable to make the ride so I completed it by myself.
