Last Thursday, 14th August, we finally reached John O’Groats after 15 days on the road, covering 1038 miles of , and - though not always in a straight line! It was an exciting journey for us, with highs and lows along the way : hills, rain, traffic and midges all added to the challenge, while fantastic scenery, and the knowledge that were making a contribution to a worthwhile cause, kept us positive on the more difficult days.
