JDRF is the world's leading charitable funder of type 1 diabetes research and raise money to drive world class research. We aim to find new ways to treat type 1 diabetes and its complications, prevent type 1 from developing and find the cure for people who already have the condition. We also help educate those affected by the condition, healthcare professionals and the general public.

WE DID IT

On Saturday 3rd October, we completed the 910 miles Lands End to John O Groats trip. Everyone managed it with very few problems!!! Check out the real stories on the daily blog at www.teamlejog.com

Why we did it - Two main reasons; firstly, it has something to do with the mid-life nature of our ages; we’re all in the crisis zone! Secondly, as almost all of the team have been touched in some way by those effected with Diabetes or indeed impacted by the condition themselves, we thought raising cash for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, set up to find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes, might be a good way of motivating the team to finish.
