The Brain Tumour Charity is the world’s leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, we’re moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour. A cure really can’t wait

Story

In June a reckless bunch of us are embarking on a mission to cycle from Land’s End to John O’Groats. Our group ranges from seasoned bikers to almost complete novices who have only just bought a bike or need to borrow one!
We plan to complete the ride in 13 days and in doing so will cover 950 miles and climb more than twice the height of Everest.
We are not only doing this as the experience of a lifetime but want to raise as much money as possible for a richly deserving cause.
The brain tumour is a debilitating and aggressive form of cancer for which both cause and cure are not known. While treatments and statistics are improving for other cancers, incidents of brain tumours are sadly on the rise which is unforgiveable in our sophisticated age.
Our chosen charity is committed to finding a cure so that one day brain tumours will be a thing of the past. We hope that together we can help make a difference.
Our ride is in memory of Chris Putland, who will be with us (if not ahead of us!) all the way from Land’s End to John O’Groats.

As a result of this ride we will also be making a donation to The Princess Alice Hospice. We hugely appreciate the care and support they gave us during our hardest times.
