Story

Thank you for visiting our LEJOG Pedallers Justgiving fundraising page.

At the end of May we will be embarking on a fundraising bike ride from Land's End to John O'Groats (LEJOG).  The distance of approximately 850 miles will be covered in 7 days of unsupported cycling, an average of just over 120 miles per day. The route will take us through Tiverton, up to Bristol and a crossing on the First Severn Bridge. This will be followed by a short ride through Leomininster, Wigan and Carlisle before entering Scotland. The journey continues via Stirling and then a long ride to Inverness before finally finishing on the furthest North East Corner of the British mainland. We plan to travel as light as possible and stay in Youth Hostels that have already been booked.

In order to give us motivation and to spur us on we have chosen to raise money along the way. The charity we have selected is the Guillain-Barré Syndrome Support Group. GBSSG support people suffering from medical conditions affecting the peripheral nerves such as Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS), MFS & CIDP, a condition that Paul's wife has been suffering from for the last 14 years. http://www.gbs.org.uk/index2.shtml

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Guillain-Barré Syndrome Support Group will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Alternatively, you can contact us directly, as we both have paper sponsor forms.

So please dig deep and sponsor us.

Many thanks for your support.
