Story

Dear All,

We did it!

We trekked for 5 days in total. The trip was amazing, the views were breathtaking and the Peruvian people and culture were delightful. It was an extremely exhausting trek but it was totally worthwhile.

I would like to thank you all for your generous donations and support. Together we have raised just under £4000 for this very worthy cause. Cancer is common – around 285,000 new cases are diagnosed each year in the UK. I feel it is crucial to support Cancer Research in the quest to find ways of beating this terrible disease.

This webpage closes on 17th June so if you have not donated yet, any funds would be greatly appreciated.

Sian is raising money for Diabetes UK another charity that needs as much help as possible to raise funds to continue with its ground breaking research. If you would like to visit her page, please go to:

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer Research UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
