I had this crazy idea when my work colleagues kept suggesting I got my hair cut.Why not get sponsored for it. My neighbour works with deaf children , and as a good friend has a blind son, I chose  to support SENSE as they help both deaf and blind people.  

I have also signed up to run blindfolded in the SENSE 5K event at Victoria Park, Hackney on Sunday 14th September. This may seem even crazier, however. I will be guided around the course, and it may even give me some insight ( pardon the pun ) into what it must be like to be without sight.
