Wednesday 25th June Hi Everyone, Boy, does he pick some walks, I ask you - what dog enjoys walking on shingle? Because I most certainly don't!
He did pick some good bits though the best being the last section Weybourne to Cromer (which we did on the second day?) talk about a dog not knowing whether it's coming or going! We did the first bit as scheduled which, once clear of Hunstanton, was quite pleasant and we made good time although the scenery and a distinct lack of smells made it a little boring for me. Never mind, the second day on the last bit was interesting as more canines used that path and it came inland through the woods which was as well as it's been d**n hot. On the third day we went from Weybourne westward. I've never seen so many stones in my life, once we had left the noisy tanks at Muckleburgh behind. Ah well, he did make up for his transgressions later I'm pleased to say. I'm sitting in the Eastern Press office in Cromer sending this missive before going back to the Runton Road Car park up on the headland with ice creams close to hand where I intend to lay in the breeze and eat whatever comes my way.
One of the highlights of this trip has been the number of Lurchers and yes you've guessed it, Greyhounds I've been allowed to stop and talk to. I send greetings (the boss's word) to all my friends at Wood Green Animal Shelters, Northants Greyhound Rescue and of course to all my sponsors. Love to All, your slimline canine.

UPDATE!! Hi Folks Well it’s little old modest me again about to embark on a stroll from Hunstanton to Cromer (47 miles) with the ‘boss’ (heh heh!). Once more I’m walking in aid of Wood Green Animal Shelter and Northants Greyhound Rescue to help other dogs especially Greyhounds find good ‘forever’ homes, like my three companions at home. They are all elderly greys who all had bad starts in life (mine wasn’t too good either). If you would like to help just click on Donate Now at the bottom and see how simple it is to help make a dog happy, who will in turn repay the love they are given. There is one problem though living with the pointed nose ones, they might be the fastest dogs in the universe (not my bunch) but boy industrious (like me) they are not, two twenty minute walks is all they want before feeding and then finding a comfortable bed which doing my waist line no good at all. Still I do get one (or two) good walks a year and this one starts on the 22nd June. Well folks I’ll keep you posted as to how it goes and how the ‘boss’ shapes up, but please don’t forget to click on Donate Now before logging off. You’re cheeky chappie, Leo the Lurcher. Leo’s Itinerary – 22nd to 24/25th June Sunday 22nd 10.00hrs start Hunstanton to Burnham Overy Staithe via Holme Brancaster – 18 miles Monday 23rd 10.00hrs On to Cley via Holkham, Wells and Blakeney – 16 miles Tuesday 24th 10.00hrs On to Cromer via Salthouse and Sheringham – 13 miles Wednesday 25th I am putting my paws up today unless He has got me all behind so we have to finish off today. Thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page. This year I am taking my human to walk the coastline of North Norfolk. All sponsorship is in aid of Wood Green Animal Shelters and Northants Greyhound Rescue and will help my four-legged friends. Also, we are dedicating this walk to my lovely human Grandma who sadly passed away recently. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Wood Green Animal Shelters will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
Lots of licks, Leo x
