The Leukaemia Society are a group of people who are committed to helping children and adults to survive leukaemia or live their last days with dignity, while supporting their families. The charity has been my second home for many years and i am the current chair; 

I have  decided to join forces with some friends and trek the high peaks of the Annapurnas in Nepal in order to raise money for the charity

So the plan is to  put the trekking gear on and walk for many days and hours on end… reaching the  top destination (3000m aprox)  this will involve about 8/9 hours every day walking up and down rocky, steep trails - tough on the legs for sure... hopefully the beauty of the mountains will keep me going despite tiredness, mud, rapid weather changes and unfriendly hungry animals - nothing big just leaches! The trek will be very challenging physically and mentally, camping outdoors and living on basics away from our everyday comforts, and given the fact that I am not exactly training every  day  and for those that know me ,know walking and I are not best friends,so this should be interesting!! 

Giving money through this website is safe and the best way to do it, since the charity will also claim an additional tax return,
