I am part of the Making a Positive Difference for Macmillan team. Please heIp me to contribute to the team's goal of raising £10,000 this year. Having been treated for breast cancer at the end of last year I understand just how much the money people donate to charities like this help people. The support I received from Macmillan's nurses, leaflets and website made a difference to me and I want to help them keep doing that for other people.
Any one who knows me knows I "don't do running". SO- because it has to be hard I set myself the target of running 5K at the Edinburgh Running Festival in May. I started the process of getting strong enough to improve from my 50 meters before vomiting starting point at the start of February. All being well l will achieve my goal of running all the way round the 5 K course in May. After that - a new goal...
