I'm joining Cancer Research UK's Race for Life this year. It has been brought home to me over this last year or so that cancer doesn't care who it hurts.  My Aunty Maureen and my friend Scottish Gill didn't make it. My friend Ruth is still coping with cancer. Those of you that know me will be aware of my aversion to exercise but it's time I stepped up to the plate. Not for me......for them.  We need to kick cancer's arse for good. Research and care takes more money than the NHS has got.
