I’m not quite sure how this happened, all I know is that by the time I’d left my friend Anna’s birthday party I was committed to cycling from London to Paris!

So why the Prostate Cancer Charity? My Dad has just been diagnosed with prostate cancer. Until very recently I was unaware that there was a family link with prostate cancer. My Dad’s twin brother died of prostate cancer a few years ago. Had my Dad been aware of his increased risk he would have had regular tests and maybe he would have diagnosed sooner. Communicating messages such as this is just one part of the work that the Prostate Cancer Charity does.

The cost of my trip is £625; therefore I have “donated” that amount myself so that any money I raise through sponsorship goes directly to the Prostate Cancer Charity.
