I am excited to tell you that I am going to Kagera in north west Tanzania for 2 weeks at the end of January 2008 with the bible society. We will be providing children's bibles as part of a literacy scheme for children who are supported by the Tumaini charity (which means hope in Swahili) who are orphaned by Aids. We will also be linking in with the "Good Samaritan" project which provides preventative guidance and hope in a Christian context for those with the HIV virus. I am funding my own expenses for this trip and am hoping to match this cost with raising funds to donate towards the Tumaini charity and the "Good Samaritan" project. I would be delighted if you would like to donate towards these charities. The "Butterfly Effect" is how small, seemingly insignificant acts can dramatically alter events somewhere else - I hope and pray that can be so. Much Love Lesley
