Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. 
I am 50 years old and have never done anything like this before in my life. I haven't even flown before, so the flight to Beijing is a challenge in itself.
My family are supporting me and my husband is taking leave from work to look after our 3 school age children.
The Trek itself is 100 kilometers (62.5 miles in old money !!) which will take about 40 hours of walking spread over 6 days. It is certainly no walk in the park, as it is over quite hilly terrain.
