Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The Lest We Forget Walk is the brainchild of cousins Arran & Mark Nicholson who decided to remember the millions that died in the First World War, as we approach the 100th year of it's commencement in July 1914.

Raising money for The Royal British Legion, Arran and Mark will be trekking from Bastogne in the East of the country to Ypres in the West.

Approximately 200 miles of walking stands ahead of them, and a target of 10 days to do it all in.

Follow our blog, which we will be adding to on a daily basis. It will also be used as an online diary for when the walk starts on Friday 18th July.

The plan is to walk into Ypres on the 100th anniversary of the Great War.
