At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you. Visit www.younglivesvscancer.org.uk

Story

PLEASE remember to tick 'Gift Aid' when you are donating, this adds more to your donation which you don't have to pay for :)

We wanted to do something really memorable, mainly for Ty but also something we would always remember, something that could be laughed at over a beer in five years time.

It definitely had to have some 'Ty'ness in it, something he'd definitely want to be a part of plus look like we were suffering for our sponsor money!

Ty and Matt Elderidge did the Land's End John O'Grouts ride a few years ago so as a bigger group it was decided to do this ride but adjust the route slightly. Slightly being through France, taking a looped route using Nailsea as the Start/Finish point. The route hasn't been totally finalised but we will keep you all updated

We will be keeping a log of the trip as we go. Updating the Facebook group and our crazyguyonabike.com page which we provide the links for. We hope to update this daily (Internet connection permitting) so you can all follow us as we go.

Most importantly, how can you get involved? The easiest way being sponsorship and the slightly more expensive way is to come support us during the trip. Anyone who could offer us their living room floor would be brilliant and we'll buy you a beer or two. We plan on stopping in Paris for a few days so if a few want to wonder down for the day, the more the better.

Regarding sponsorship can I just assure everyone that 100% of the money that you donate will be given to CLIC and we are not taking any costs out for us. The entire cost of this trip will be done off our own backs.

Cheers

Pete, James, Dan, Sam and Will
