Well, what began as an idle bet with my fiancée has turned into this.  I don't even know how we got onto the subject, but a conversation over breakfast (and due to a delayed flight) led to our making proposals on what we could and should give up for Lent.  Sadly, I picked alcohol.  This became a blog (check it out please!) until yesterday (19th January) I resolved to altogether more charitable aims.

 

So, I am giving up booze for the wonderful Sheffield Alcohol Support Service.  Forty days, plus Sundays and incorporating two weddings and several birthdays.  Please, wish me luck!!!
