Lewis: I ran the London Marathon in 4 hours 45 minutes and am extremely proud that I have completed my first London Marathon for Batten Disease.
Tammy (my wife): I am so proud of all the Lewis has achieved - we were all there to support him as he ran the London Marathon and at 19 miles he was still looking good even though there was another 7 miles to go!
It's not too late to donate and we are really grateful for all the donations we have already received. All the money raised goes to help support the work of the Batten Disease Family Association. They are there when I need support or advice, and offer really helpful days for families like us to meet the professionals who work with Batten's. So make sure you look up Batten's on the website to find out more about this devastating disease.
Dont' forget to check out the Batten Disease Website for more details about the important work they do to help families like us: www.bdfa-uk.org.uk.
