Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My family over the last 7 years have been hit by cancer of various types. My sister was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in 2009 aged 12 where thankfully the treatment was successful and has now been given the all clear. My auntie had been diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010 and again thankfully, treatment was successful. My grandad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2012 which after a year of battling, sadly cost him his life. In May 2015, my dad also had a scare with an enlarged prostrate, luckily after surgery was found not to be cancerous.

So due to all the help and support we all received through the tough times, helping cancer charities is high on my to do list so me and my dad are taking part in this event to raise money to go towards cancer research.

We have set out to raise £1000 each for Prostate Cancer UK so any donations towards reaching that target will be greatly appreciated!
