This is the second ride I have donated to Macmillan Cancer Relief, after completing a 50 mile ride in 2009 and raising over £200 for Macmillan I have decided to raise the bar a little.  This year I, along with my father Ian will ride the 141 mile long coast to coast route over 2 days begining on Monday 12th July 2010.  Although over 2 days I am aiming to complete the ride in under 16 hours.

Why Macmillan?  Previous sponsors and friends will know that Macmillan provided excellent care for my mother and support for her family towards the end of her long battle with cancer, whatever I can raise in return will go a short way to repaying my debt to them.  Macmillan are there to support people suffering from cancer and ask for nothing in return, without donations from us they simply could not do the great work they do.
