Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Most of our best childhood memories involve spending time at 'nannies' house with our cousins, our late grandad and our Nannie Still. A caring, strong willed women, never shy to tell you how it is and never missed an opportunity to pull a prank (especially on grandad) That women is still very much alive and kicking unfortunately she is also living with Parkinson's.

Prior to our Nannie having Parkinson's our knowledge of it was practically zero, knowing only that people who had it shook a lot, we now know it is so so much more. We have seen how much it has changed our nannie, it has had a devastating effect on both her mind and body, leaving her needing help with every aspect of her daily physical life, and making it difficult for her to communicate verbally (although she still manages to tell us off on occasion)

Parkinson's is a cruel, horrible disease which will eventually take our nannie from us and this is why we want your help to raise money for Parkinson's UK so they can continue to help; support victims and their families, educate about the disease and find a cure.

We would really appreciate your help in smashing our target of raising £800 for the Parkinson's UK charity.
