Ebrahim College (EC) is currently close to completing the accreditation process for its BA in Islamic Sciences and Society programme from the Universityof Gloucestershire, one of the prerequisites of seeking such accreditation is a fully resourced and functioning library.

EC is seeking financial support to bring the standards of its library up to those required by the Universityof Gloucestershire. The college already has a rich collection of traditional and modern Islamic Books and is looking to improve both the capacity and functionality of the library and available resources. This includes additional shelving/storage, security and enhanced IT software and capabilities. The college has already spent over £50,000 on its existing library facilities from its limited resources.

We need £20,000 to bring the standards of the library up to the standards required. 

Hadrat Abu Huraira (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (SAWS) as saying,
"Among the actions and good deeds for which a believer will continue to receive reward after his death are knowledge which he taught and spread, a good son whom he left behind, or a copy of the Qur'an which he left as a legacy…" (Ibn Majah and Baihaqi)
