Dave Hague was larger than life.  He was the centre of attention whether he wanted to be or not, purely by is infectious nature.  You couldn't help but like him.  When he passed away so suddenly, he left a huge hole in the lives of everyone who knew him.  Despite all the tests he underwent after his previous health problems, a blood clot was the cause of such an unneccessary and untimely death.   

Lifeblood are a charity whose mission statement is "to increase awareness of thrombosis among the public and health professionals and to raise research funds to improve patient care through improved prevention and treatment of venous thromboembolic disease".  Dave's friends and family want to raise money for Lifeblood to help them in their work to try and stop others lives being affected the way ours have.
