In August 1997 I took on the challenge of living following a cancer diagnosis.  I was 35 years old and breast cancer, a mastectomy and chemotherapy were not in my life plan. But here I am ten years on taking on another challenge - motorbiking!  YES I know I am nuts!

However, I am committed to riding a Harley Davidson 1,000 miles from Aviemore to London in August 2007. I have started my training with the support of LINK and believe me this is some challenge! 

The purpose of the ride is to raise funds for Helen Rollason Heal Cancer Charity and Amazon Heart, to raise awareness of people living with cancer and to offer peer group support.  And of course to have lots of FUN.

So wish me well as I welcome being 45 and enjoy the Ride of My Life!
