Hi everyone!
Like a G6 is a team in the Rickshaw Run adventure. It consists of two kiwi girls, Nicky and Ale, and Pete, a lovely Aussie guy. We all live in Sydney. We are going to be leaving Rajasthan on New Years day and travelling 3500kms down to Cochin in the south in a motorised rickshaw - and we have two weeks to do it! We leave behind all the things that we currently cannot live without. Ale with her fear of people in her personal space, and Nicky's hairdryer and makeup... not sure how we will both cope. Pete - seems completely up for it - but we will see ;)
This is all in the name of charity - we have chosen to donate the money we raise to the FRANK water charity. Without water, there is no life... simple really. FRANK Water works with a local Indian Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) called Naandi, to build and support community clean water projects. To date FRANK Water Projects has funded 58 clean water projects, benefiting more than 400,000 people. Every pound donated to FRANK gives one person access to clean, healthy water for life.
