The 2.6 Challenge is a simple and fun way for everyone to do their bit to help save the UKs charities.

Story

Save the UK's CharitiesGeneral fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income. This impacts all sectors of society from children to the elderly as well as the vital work in areas such as palliative care, serious diseases, mental health, housing support, food supplies and countless others that charities support.

The challenge Lily has taken on is to walk (in her Rachel harness) 26 laps of the living room. This may sound easy but it will probably take her most the day as she will need breaks in-between! Lily spends 90% of her day sat down, so this really is a challenge for her, but one she's wanting to try in order to help raise funds for Reverse Rett.

To support her (can't let her do all the work!) I'll be running 50km for Reverse Rett over the next few weeks (I'm not a runner 😅) this will all be from home as we are isolating.

Thank you
