Lily and Ava's Reading Challenge · 12 January 2017

Whoopsadaisy helps children with physical disabilities live life as independently as possible. Using the Hungarian method of Conductive Education we focus on what the children can do in group sessions which the children's parents and carers also attend. .At Whoopsadaisy every step counts.

Hi my name is Ava and I am nine years
old. I live in Glasgow, have a cat,  love reading and my favourite author
 is Malorie Blackman.

We are best friends.

You can follow our progress on our blog https://lilyandavareadingcharity.wordpress.com/about/.  We wanted to raise money for two charities, Whoopsadaisy  and Water Aid.

  • Whoopsaidasy supports children and
families affected by Cerebral Palsy (CP). CP is caused by a problem in the parts of the brain responsible for controlling muscles. The
condition can occur if the brain develops abnormally or is damaged
before, during or shortly after birth. I (Lily) have a close relative
    who has Cerebal Palsy.
  • Water Aid is a life changing charity that helps some of the poorest countries in the world have safe and clean water.

AIM

From the 12th of January 2017 until the
9th of Febuary 2017 (4 weeks) we aim to read 32 books between us ( 16
books each). This is taking into account the fact we are at school and
we get homework… unless our teacher decides we can do less over this
perieod! 😀📖
