400 miles in 4 days

Armed only with some aluminium tubing bolted between 2 'thick as a frisbee' wheels and hopefully a fair wind, I shall be attempting to cycle from Canterbury to Calais, then Lille, then Bruges, then Nijmegen, then Amsterdam, all in the name of charity.

As part of Fashion Peddlers, a group of weekend cyclists, we are continuing our traditon of supporting a charity called Children's Hope, a small organisation which provides schooling and healthcare for talented children and their families in Bangladesh.

The ride will take place from 8th-11th July, by which time I shall have already have cycled 1,000 training miles (mostly to work and back), and perfected the art of the big, carbo fuelled breakfast (care of the new Look staff canteen).
