Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer Research UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Most of us know someone whose life has been touched by cancer, but it is a real shock when a close family member is diagnosed. My brother (35) was diagnosed with head and neck cancer last year and has since been undergoing intensive chemotherapy and radiotherapy. It's been really tough on him and the family watching him endure the treatment but he is now doing well and seems to be on the road to recovery. We want to help Cancer Research to continue in their vital life saving work and we can't thank them enough for what they have done and will continue to do for Martin and others.

It's going to be really tough running 13 miles so please give us some incentive and sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
