This is my 4th running of the London Marathon and this year I am once again running in memory of Sam.  His short life touched so many people of whom I was one and I am honoured that Simon, Sarah, Scott, Steven and Stacey are happy for me to run for him.  The pain of those 26 miles is short.  Theirs is forever - so what else can I do.

I am also running for Ceri whose grandaughter also had a short life but was comforted by the staff at the Royal Hospital for Children Bristol.  

I hope in some small way to ease their burden and ensure that the work of the hospital can continue and perhaps other families will not have to endure such tragedy.
