I'm doing Arch's Sleepout again this year because it's one way of combining raising awareness of homelessness with raising cash.

We don't suggest this is a real experiencing of sleeping rough - we have cosy clothes, we're in a safe place, and we have a bed to go to in the morning and the rest of the weekend.  But it does make people think about what it would be like to carry all your belongings around with you, not know where you will sleep, whether you will be safe from harrassment or attack and what it will do to your health  .
