Hi my name is Lindsay Maclean. I'm 28 and live in Laggan with my 4 girls.
I am going to be climbing Mullach an Rathain in Torridon, next summer.
I am climbing this paticular mountain, as on 13th dec 2000, my dad Bob Maclean and Ewan Spalding were sadly taken from us, with a plane crash into this mountain!!
This year is the 10th anniversary, so thought it would be fitting to get my lazy bum fit, and get myself up there to lay a plaque which i have always wanted to do.
Also i'm looking to raise, as much money as i can possibly raise for MOUNTAIN RESCUE. They were out there every day for 3months solid in the worst snow we've had in a long time. They have to have the hardest job ever and they dont even get paid. The men and woman that go out there and risk there lives are my heroes. and i would love to raise so much money for them to show how much we all appreciate all there hard work and dedication.
So come on people dig deep, absolutly every penny helps. xx
