Cancer Research UK is a cause close to my heart as I lost my elder sister, Sue, to breast cancer in 1986. More recently my other sister Dee, has had treatment of cancer of the Thyroid and thankfully she has made a full recovery.

So I am going to use the fact that I need to lose a great deal of weight to raise money for Cancer Research UK

Other reasons to lose weight are...

a) My Health
b) I may need a operation on my knee and need to be much much lighter
c) I ain't getting any younger so now is the time.

I will post my weight loss weekly as from 24th February 2009 until 3rd August 2009

I want to lose 100lbs!!!   

July 13th - 4 lbs off this week so thats a total of 79 lbs lost now so the target is now 21 lbs!

So please help me by making the amout raised so huge that it will keep me focused on my target.
