Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way: Cancer Research UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thank you for your support.

For over 30 years one man was my best friend, partner, chief encourager and gentle critic. Anyone who has enjoyed my work owes him a debt for never doubting me, selflessly plodding around archaeological sites and museums, reading manuscripts, suggesting changes and proudly supporting me in public and private. Donations in his memory will go to researching kidney cancer. Ground-breaking surgery gave us three wonderful extra years, and what was learned from this brave and tenacious patient may go on to help others.

See  my website for the 'while stocks last' offer of signed books for people who help with this appeal.
