Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Adam Linsley and I am a freelance Trumpet Player based in North Lincolnshire.

I am running the London Marathon as part of the Macmillan Cancer Support team on 22/4/2012

I am doing this as a personal thankyou to Macmillan for the help and support I recieved during my Mum's breast cancer & also as a continued thankyou for the help and support they continue to offer to many friends, family members and collegues (along with many 1000's of other people I don't know) that are dealing with cancer either directly or indirectly.

As many of you know I did a sponsored weight loss at the beginning of this year and raised over £2000 for Macmillan as well as losing over 3 1/2 stone. This is my next big challenge - I'm now over 4 stone lighter and training hard to succeed at this.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

A big thank you from the bottom of my heart xx
