We will be spending the weekend of the 29th - 31st October the way that 1 billion people spend a life time - In a slum!

We will build our own slum huts to sleep in, eat only two meals of rice and lentils a day, live without our mobile phones, mp3 players and cosmetics etc and take part in various challenges that show what 'slum life' is like.

The Beacon Community Trust youth group, IMPACT, are hoping to raise £2000 towards the work of Soul Action. If you donate through this justgiving site then they will send your money direct to the charity and make sure that Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligable donation.
