Lucy Dabbs and Lisa Scarsbrook are off to Tanzania in Feb 2008!

The project will take us to Tanzania for 12 days where we will be helping to build & restore a local school as well as spend 6 days trekking. We need to raise £7,000 between us for Marie Curie Cancer Care, which as you all know is a worth while charity. Lisa Scarsbrook is taking part in Project Tanzania in memory of Wendy Lonergan and Lucy Dabbs is taking part in Project Tanzania in memory of Jodie Downes.

Those who know us well know this is a huge challenge for the two girls who love their Kurt Geigers, GHDs & array of MAC makeup! The Project will get us building & sporting walking boots & actually walking! (no taxis Im afraid)!

The work Marie Curie do internationally & the support they give to terminally ill cancer patients and their families in the UK is inspiring.

We have worked hard training and raising money through a variety of events & various fundraising projects so please help us. £7,000 is a large amount of money but with your help we can do it!

The Charity Golf Event at Whittacker Golf Club, Littleborough raised £1150! Thanks to everyone who came, donated and supported the Charity Dinner party event on Saturday 29th September! The event was a great sucess and a good night was had by all - Special thanks to Bernard for getting everyone drunk and making more money for the cause through the raffle (Thanks also for all prizes donated!) - and a huge huge thanks to Mummy Scarsbrook for organising and hosting the event as well as donating and cooking all the food. Thanks also to Andrew Nutter for his contributions on the night! Not forgetting ourselves (Lucy and Lisa) and our lovely boyfriends who waited on the guests all night!  We raised a total of £405!
