On the 10th May 2009 I will be driving down to the south coast on my own with my 2 children whom are 2 and 4 and when 1st get down we will be going to do a 5mile walk after a 320+ mile drive! We are walking with one of my best friends ever- Lisa Barrett.........
We are doing this walk in memory of Tony Barrett who sadly passed away on the 8th Dec 2007 aged 3yrs 2months- Snowdrop helped him and his Mummy Lisa so much and they continue to help other families with poorly children.
On the 4th Jan 08 I had to watch the smallest blue Coffin i have ever seen as Lisa had to bury her little Boy who is and always will be her whole world. Tony may have had a short life however he touched many people -you couldnt help but love him when you met him, He had alot of problems but never stopped smilling!!! He was Blind, Autistic, Had serve developmental delay, Feeding problems and had aplastic anemia which meant he had to have regular blood transfussions but never really complained.
Lisa and I have been friends since we met at secondary school at the age of 11 and 19yrs later we are still friends and have been friends through the high's and low's that life throws at us all. Doing this walk is one way i can give something back for all the times Lisa has been there for me.

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO SPONSORED US, WE DID THE WALK IN JUST OVER 2HOURS WHICH WAS BAD AS WE HAD 4 CHILDREN IN OUR GROUP UNDER 6YR OLD, ALL THE CHILDREN DID THE FULL WALK OTHER THEN MY 2YR OLD WHO WALK ALOT HOWEVER WENT IN THE BUGGY/SHOULDER CARRY ALOT.
