Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Hampshire Autistic Society gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
WHAT AM I DOING?
The 15 Peaks Challenge is a route of 32 miles, from the foothills of Snowdon to Foel Fras, including some 14,000ft of ascent and fifteen summits. To complete the route within 24 hours walking requires substantial stamina!
The 15 peaks challenge is not for the faint hearted ! I've already climbed Snowdon, Sca Fell Pike and Ben Nevis within a 24 hour period, however this usually entails substantial rest (in the back of vans/cars/minibuses etc...) and easy direct routes to the summits. The 15 peaks challenge requires a walk of some 30 miles and over 14,000 feet of ascent and descent. It is likely that a traverse of Crib Goch will be required, a grade 1 scramble at the best of conditions (take a look on google images of Crib Goch) - I wish I hadn't!
As many of you know my fellow climbers and I have been training hard for months now. For those of you who know me very well you'll be glad when its all over so you don't have to listen to me going on about mountains and my latest training regime!!
SO PLEASE SPONSOR ME NOW!!!!
