My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We are running the Bristol 10k in aid of the Cots for Tots appeal, raising money for the Special Care Baby Unit at St Michael's hopsital. A cause close to our hearts.
When our son Seb was born six weeks early in March 2011 he was in the SCBU for two weeks. The care he received was incredible and he made great progress. He was fortunate to be allowed home with us relatively quickly after his birth, however, some, less fortunate, babies require significantly more aid and more time in the SCBU.
We are running in aid of Cots for Tots to say thank you to all the staff who provided Seb with such amazing care during those early, very shaky weeks of parenthood. And to help them continue to provide fantastic care for all babies who need to stay in the SCBU.
