Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
Those of you who know me will know I work for The National Autistic Society and autism has become a bit of an obsession for me over the years!! Those who know me will also know that 1) I don't do fitness and 2) I am absolutely terrified of heights!! So signing myself up for a half marathon and jumping out of a plane at 10,000 ft all in the space of a year has set me quite a challange!!
Some may ask why!?..... the answer is simple - I have met so many wonderful people through my work and I know how much the right support can make such a huge difference to families affected by autism so I thought the least I could do is challange myself to this to go a little way to help the NAS continue to provide support to the thousands of families affected by autism living in the UK today!!!
So please dig deep and sponsor me online now - every penny counts!! Just £10 enables the NAS helpline to provide an anxious caller with vital information, advice and support, £110 trains a volunteer befriender to offer friendship and support to someone with autism and their family. Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: National Autistic Society gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
