Hi! Just to let everyone know Marcelle and I managed to keep silent for the full 8 hours today!! Thank you to everyone who has sponsored and supported us - it's not too late if you or anyone you know would like to donate anything now!!! Marcelle and I participated in a sponsored silence on Saturday 28th June 2008 from 10am to 6pm. We had 2 chaperones with us for the day and they looked after us really well!! As you will all be aware we both talk a lot and 8 hours of not talking was a challenge, however we held the sponsored silence in the hope of raising some money for Casa Re'om. On 2nd May Marcelle and I had a trial run at silence, as we had the children we only did it for 15 minutes, but we achieved it, and we were able to laugh in silence as well, I think we will need to have a few more practices before the big day, but we will do it!!! Casa Re'om is a project in Beira, Mozambique for street children. There are 2 orphanages, Inhamizua for older boys and Dondo from newborn+ boys and girls, the children can be cared for at these centers and receive an education, for more information look at www.casa-reom.org.uk Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.
